My name is Andrew Robinson and I’m a Licenced Master Social Worker and e-learning developer. For the past seven years I’ve been training people how to conduct investigations of abuse and neglect in state and private agencies. This included developing our investigatory curriculum into online courses which people could take at their own pace. For these courses, I created methodologies and developed learning modules that included video lectures, role plays, and quizzes designed to facilitate skill building and adult learning. I also provided online instruction for students, giving them feedback and doing role plays with them over Zoom. I’ve found that learning new materials and using that knowledge to create and develop courses was what I enjoyed most about my job. I’m now looking for new challenges!
